BitmapDC_src.zip - CBitmapDC is a subclass of CDC. It is a handy little class that provides a memory bitmap device context without having to reinvent the wheel every time you need one.
zipcodemapping_demo.zip - This application was designed to help me figure out the demographics of my address list. I was curious as to where the various people were located in the continental United States. After a while, I found a couple of interesting articles that pointed me in the right direction, but nothing that was going to save me from writing a solution myself... So, here it is... 3d_terrain.zip - GIS (Geographical Information System) is a computer support system that represents data using maps. It helps people access, display and analyse data that has geographic content and meaning. For those not familiar with GIS, it used to be a niche IT market dominated by the traditional GIS and CAD companies such as Intergraph, Bentley, MapInfo, Autodesk and ESRI. Nowadays global IT giants such as Microsoft, Google and Oracle are competing for their share of the pie through products such as Virtual Earth, Google Earth and Oracle Spatial. NASA has also recently released a free, open source GIS viewer application called World Wind.
oscill_src.zip - This a simple implementation of Oscilloscope control. This control shows last N points of user data. It has up to 8 channels (number of channels are defined by OSC_MAX_CHANNELS parameter in header file). Each channel can show only one curve (in this version). Oscilloscope includes zoom in implementation by X (Horizontal), by Y (Vertical), and by both axes simultaneously (Rectangle). Zoom out is also available by pressing right mouse button in channel area (hold CTRL key to full zoom out).
coscilloscopectrl_demo.zip - Recently, one of the projects that I m working on required showing some variable data, like signal strength, signal to noise ratio etc. As usual, I dived into Code Project, confident that I ll find a solution. I did find some, as expected, but unfortunately, none of them fit my requirements. First of all, I needed to show variables of different type, i.e. the control needed to have multiple bands. Secondly, the code needed to be windows CE compliant. After some review, I choose Mehdi Mousavi s CHistogramCtrl, which was good enough to be portable to windows CE. All I did was add some modifications to include multiple bands support and that s it. Using the code
