Description: According to the obtained results, both methods achieved the expected convergence results. Absolute error of the 2 methods is less than 10-6. In two methods, we see Secant method faster convergence than Bisection method. Secant method converges only after 7 loops but Bisection method after 17 loops, Bisection method iteration is doubled with Secant method. Rate of convergence of Bisection, Secant method are respectively linear and super linear. Correlation between root intervals, the interval between x0 and x1 will become increasingly smaller, converging on the root of the function.

Description: To define terms need to have an absolute error of less than 0.0001 at x = 2, we used a while loop combine for loop. The loop is used with condition the absolute error value greater than or equal to 0.0001. The for loop is used to caculate f(x) with the number of terms increase through each while loop. When the absolute error value less than 0.0001, the while loop will stop. As the same time, the result will obtain the number of terms so that absolute error of f(x) less than 0.0001.
